Final Project Paragraph
I want to photograph the life of Pennsylvania, but in a sense that is unsettling or perhaps leaves the viewer wondering about the story behind the photograph. What I mean is, Pennsylvania is full of small towns and college towns and abandoned farm houses and rolling hills, and I want capture these, while also having a model or passerby in the photo who's life you are left to wonder about. I am interested in this because I was born here in PA and am captured by the mundane small towns, the back roads, and I want to delve deeper into their contents, capture their meaning and sometimes give them meaning. I believe this goal will be easy to carry out for multiple weeks because I am capturing the very place I live, I'm exploring everywhere I can. I want to use PA as a backdrop and tell stories of people within it's context. Laundromat's and farm houses, grocery stores and back woods. The outcome I am expecting is a glimpse into the inner workings of my home state, the norm...
